Day 1

You will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our staff and then transferred to Ngong Hills where you will have 2 nights home stay at Apollo’s house. Dinner will be African style.
The homestead is located on a ridge overlooking the Great Rift Valley. This ridge dominates the view west from Nairobi on a clear day. From a distance the 4 main summits resemble the knuckles of a giant whose fate is the subject of several Maasai legends. They provide good walking over rolling grassy slopes dotted with dense shrub. One should be alert to the areas where buffalo can be encountered. In all a rich variety of game can be seen if care is taken. The main ridge crest provides excellent views of sunsets over the Rift Valley. (D)

Day 2

After breakfasting in the local manner, visit the nearby Maasai village to learn more about the Maasai people then later return to Apollo’s house for early lunch, there after climb the Ngong Hills which from the top offer a panoramic view of Nairobi city. During this climb you might be lucky to encounter some giraffes and antelopes. Return to your host family later in the afternoon for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 3

After breakfast, pick-up by your driver and depart for Amboseli National Park. On arrival check-in at the campsite before lunch. This afternoon you get to enjoy a game drive before returning to the campsite for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 4

Today you will spend the day on game drives.
06:30 – Morning game drive. Return to the campsite for breakfast;
10:00 Mid-morning game drive, return to the campsite for lunch;
16:00 – Afternoon game drive. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 5

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park via Nairobi. Picnic boxes will be provided to eat en-route. On arrival have an afternoon game drive at the park and thereafter check-in at your hotel in Nakuru town for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Day 6

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara via Narok town for a light lunch. On arrival at the Mara have a game drive en-route to the campsite where you will have dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 7

08:30 – After breakfast proceed for a game drive and also visit the Hippo Pool. Return to the campsite for lunch and a short siesta;
16:00 – a final game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. (B, L, D)

Day 8

After breakfast have game drive on the way out of the park as you head back to Nairobi where you will arrive in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. Later transfer to the Hilton hotel for overnight.

Day 9

After breakfast transfer to JKIA for your flight back home. (B)
